HR Path renews commitment to plant additional 1000 trees in 2022!

In 2021, HR Path fulfilled their promise of planting 1000 trees and has now renewed that commitment to plant an additional 1000 trees in 2022!

Trees are not only the core of our ecosystem, as they purify the air we breathe, filter the water we drink, provide habitat for over 80% of the world’s terrestrial biodiversity, but they are also extremely important in the business world. They provide jobs for over 1.6 billion people, take up harmful carbon from the atmosphere, and are key ingredients in 25% of all drugs.

As an environmental charity, One Tree Planted is committed to helping individuals and businesses restore the environment, create a healthier climate, protect biodiversity, and aid reforestation efforts around the world, all by planting trees! Through this association, HR Path has decided to support its growth by taking concrete action for the reforestation of forests. So, through our donation, we are proud to contribute this year by planting 1000 trees in the Amazon, the lung of the world!

With the largest rainforest ecosystem in the world, the Amazon rainforest spans 9 countries and is home to nearly 30% of the plant and animal species on Earth. By holding between 90 and 140 billion tonnes of carbon, its forests play an essential role in the fight against climate change. Unfortunately, due to logging, unsustainable agriculture and forest fires, it is also an area at high risk of deforestation and degradation. Planting trees in the Amazon rainforest will help conserve the habitat of its iconic wildlife species, provide sustainable livelihoods for local people and stabilize the climate.
